Provo

After a plethora of trips home from Ogden with Mater packed to the max...I am now officially moved in. I think. Mostly everything is unpacked and I finally got my bed made so I could have something to sleep on. Mom and I went grocery shopping at Costco, love Costco, and I am pretty much set for quite a while. My roommate doesn't move in till August so I have to whole place to myself for a bit which has it's ups and downs.

I already spent a month by myself at my apartment up in Ogden, and I just about went crazy! But I think this wont be too bad because I have so many friends that are close, and of course I have the grandparents to keep me company! This weekend was a little crazy! I had my last day at work Thursday, moved almost everything down that night, got up Friday morning and moved everything to Provo, only started to unpack when we went to my sisters graduation and did family stuff, and finally got to see one of my friends that just got back from his mission. Saturday was Seven Peaks with a bunch of my friends. It was so nice just to relax and have fun for a couple of hours. After that I headed back to change and get ready for a friends birthday party. Geesh! Thank heavens Sunday is a day of rest because Monday I start my new job and go straight from there.

Spice Girls

I was kinda bored so I decided to look through all my pictures on my laptop. I soon came upon this.

Wow. Yes this is the cousins and I dressed up as the Spice Girls. Now I was never into Spice Girls when I was little, but the cousins were. I don't know who decided to have us dress up in our version of Spice Girls and put on a show for our family...but I remember when I found out that I had to be Sporty Spice because all the other ones were taken. I couldn't believe I was going to dress up like a girl who dances around in a sports bra. As you can see I couldn't really do the whole outfit. I felt completely naked. The things we do as little kids.

Flo's Grave

Yesterday I was able to go with some of the girls from work out to dinner and to a movie! Kind of a last hoorah before I leave which is coming up faster than I thought it would! We went to this restaurant which was very good! If you have one near you go to it. I had this awesome Hawaii burger with slices of ham and grilled pineapple on the top. Different combination for me on a hamburger but man was it good. It took me a while to actually get to the good stuff because my mouth is so small. After dinner we walked right over to the Megaplex and saw 17 Again. It was cute. Still hate Zac Efron though. I did see this preview though and it looks hilarious. Definitely one I want to see. If was fun just hanging out with the girls. I love that we all get along so well at the office and even do stuff with each other outside of the office. It's great. The roommates where waiting at the apartment to go get some ice cream and while talking about ice cream we decided that we should go to Flo's grave. Apparently it's a haunted spot where a little girl named Florence was waiting for her ride on the curb and got hit and killed. So you go at night to the top of the hill, looking down on her grave, turn off your car and blink your car lights 3 times. Then she appears as a green light and starts to move toward your car. Well I got the whole thing on video....didn't see a green light but we got scared by a bunch of hooligans that were just waiting for a car of girls to come into the cemetery. One I guess was right behind our car and was about ready to pound on the car when we booked it out of there! They got us pretty good because everyone of us were screaming. Next time we are bringing men with us.

New Music Video

Mormon Tabernacle Choir has a new music video. After watching it myself, it made me think about what our church is really about. Service. Helping others. Everyone has something to give whether it be time, money, advice, skills, even blood. Look for ways to help those in need. Those you help may one day be the ones helping you.

Floss

Today was a good day at work. Despite the fact that the station has been on blasted country for three days now and I heard someone destroy Michael Buble's version of Home . I took some of the best impressions I have ever taken, didn't gag the patient, and made some pretty nice invisalign trays. Also today we got a new line of floss!!! It's the new Johnson & Johnson Reach Ultraclean. Yes I know this is sad but I was really excited to try it out on myself. For those of you that don't know my well, I have floss probably in every single purse that I own and I am flossing constantly. I love floss. But this floss really is fantastic! I should be out in dental offices everywhere and grocery stores soon. Get it. It's great. It's sad to think that I only have two weeks left at this office. I love the people that I work with. It's going to be hard to find another office with people like them.

Two weeks! Provo here I come.

Weekend and Mother's Day

Well despite being by myself for five days I was able to have a little bit of fun. Pilot man and I went on a hike and was able to see some very pretty sights. We didn't quite make it to the top of our hike because we reached snow. Yep. Snow. But it was fun! I love being outside and the fresh air was wonderful.


Then after that I headed home! Finally! I was in some desperate need of some social interaction and my family did just that. Megs loaded me up to my hearts desire of Broadways and Natalia and I attempted to watch the many episodes of Bones that had been recorded. Mother's Day was very nice indeed. The family and I got up to go see Mom at the Music and the Spoken Word and then walked around Temple Square to look at all the pretty flowers. Truly that ground is sacred because those tulips are huge! The weather couldn't have been more perfect. I'm so grateful for my mom and all that she does for me. I only wish I can grow up to be more like her! Now I just have to survive a couple more weeks here up in Ogden. It makes me sad that I will be leaving...but excited at the same time!

Well I haven't written since finals because first I have been sick...and still am...and second...I really don't have anything to report. It's been so nice not to have to deal with school right now. I love it. But this week has been lame. I have been at my apartment all by myself this whole entire week! The first day alone was actually pretty nice. It was quiet and I was able to read for hours! How I have missed that. But the second day, and the third day, and the fourth day was not. I think I have had trix every night for dinner because I just don't feel like cooking for just me. I definitely like to be around people. I've decided that if I don't ever get married for some reason that I would have to get a pet. Hopefully one day I will get a pet and it will be because I want to...not because I'm not married and need the company. Anyways I've pretty much just been working and reading. It's been a nice change from the crazy study sessions for hours! My brain is fully enjoying this time.
Well I am planning on moving to Provo probably in the beginning of June. Exciting! I can't wait to see where my life will be in the next couple of years. So many things could change. I really think this move will be good for me though and I can't wait!

I will miss the roommies.

We have become like sisters this past year. You can tell we are more than comfortable with each other if you spent the day with us! But I do have plans with them during the summer so I am really looking forward to that. Weather is fantastic. I went to run stairs around campus today, only lasted twenty minutes because of my blasted cold but man was the weather nice! After I was done I just layed in the grass for who knows how long. It. Felt. Great. As soon as it started to get a little dark I decided to sprint to Mater so I wouldn't get kidnapped or something silly like that. Ogden is a scary place. Sometimes.
