First word

This just in....Evelyn's first word. Sort of.

"Ba-ba"

Over and over and over again.

She also likes to whisper it as well. It is the cutest thing ever! I will try to get a video of it because it would put a smile on anybody's face!

1st

This Saturday is our first year anniversary! We are off for the weekend to St. George to celebrate. Eighty degree weather and sunshine. Did I mention SUNSHINE! 

I've always heard from other peeps that the first year of marriage is the hardest. Well I would have to disagree with them full heartily. Our first year of marriage has been the best year of my life...so far. I feel there will be many "best year of my life's" as we continue down the road of our marriage. I feel so lucky to have Jake as apart of my life. Forever. I often wonder, how did I get so darn lucky!

Gosh I just love him!
