Sometimes I find myself missing school...

and then I see Jake studying for his licensing exam, school and getting ready for finals.
Then I find myself not missing school.
These papers that he is holding are just for his Home and Auto licensing.

Brain Overload

My brain hurts. I'm so sick of studying ARDS, COPD, staphyloccus auresu, laryngotrachaeobronchitis, (say that one five times fast...) glomerulonephritis, and much more. I'm so glad I don't have any of those but man! This patho test I have to take Saturday. Then next week is when it gets hairy! I don't even want to talk about it.

Good news! After I take my patho test, a bunch of us are going to the Water Festival! Obviously we aren't going to Asia to take part in this event, but I am so excited! Drenching people in water and all you can eat Thai food....it's going to be awesome!

Strike and Note

I am a little ashamed of what I did. But it needed to be done. One of the roommies is going a little crazy and driving us all mad....and thanks to her our heating bill is 3 times what it should be. No lie, she takes 30 minute showers. What in the heck do you do in the shower for 30 minutes!!! So this next time she got in the shower I decided it was a good time to do my laundry. It really was time too so I didn't feel quite that bad. Lets just say her shower was a lot shorter this time.

Don't even get me started on how our kitchen looks. Dishes piled high in both sinks....none of which is mine or the other two roommies. I think we know who the culprit is here. Strike! I'm not giving in....well I'm going to try not too. Knowing me I will eventually cave in. Blast. I hate that about me. I don't have a backbone when it comes to things like that.

So funny story, I was studying in Lampros, getting ready to take my test, and sneezing up a storm! I couldn't stop! My eyes were watering like crazy because there was one more that just wouldn't come up. After the sneezing, this girl walks in and sits on the table across from me. So just imagine what I look like right now. Tears about to spill out of my eyes, nose all stuffed from sneezing....just trying to focus really hard, but this girl didn't know that I had just had a sneezing fit. I had 10 minutes left to study when I see her pick up her backpack and put a note on my table, then leave. My first thought was, "okay....that was weird?" So I pick up the note and begin to read it. I guess this girl thought I was on the verge of crying and that something wrong had happened so she decided to write me a note of courage, telling me to keep my head up, to look ahead and look for the positive. I couldn't help but smile and laugh just a little bit. Poor girl probably thought something terrible had happened to me! But hey it did make my day, and I stopped sneezing! Thanks my no-name friend.

Shh! This is a quiet study area

I have a hard time studying at the apartment, so I usually just head on over to campus to study at the library. Now if it's "somewhat, not that important" type of studying then I usually just go to the second floor, to the round table by the window so I can people watch while I study. I love love to watch people...not in a creepy way of course. But this was some serious studying that I needed to do. That required the third floor. The third floor is where people give you mean looks if you unzip your backpack too loud, or if your pencil squeaks, which is why I never write with pencils. So I made sure I had my backpack unzipped before I found my spot, pulled out my ginormous pathophysiology book and began to study. A girl walks in and sits at a table that was a couple of tables down from where I was, which didn't bother me until she pulled out her ipod and started listening to music. Now I listen to classical music or soothing music when I study so I can focus, but this girl was listening to "crazy" music. That's what I termed it. Not only was it "crazy" music but it was oh so loud! I could hear it perfectly clear from where I was sitting. Ha now it was my turn to give the mean "this is a quiet study area" look. Too bad her music was too loud for her to even notice it.
